My door is at an angle to the wall. What can I do?
The stainless steel plate can be bent a little so the hook fits neatly around the handle. If this is difficult or does not work, just email a photo to info@deurklinkhaak.nl
There is no wall — what now?

Do the nuts on the black hook need to be tightened firmly?
Yes, the black hook should be fixed firmly and must not move. It is not a problem if they are not fully tightened, but then the door will rattle more and the nuts may vibrate loose.
The door handle is wider than 21 mm — what can I do?
Please email a photo and measurements to info@deurklinkhaak.nl then we will check whether a small adjustment can make it work.
Mark from the Door Handle Hook on the door handle?
The Door Handle Hook can sometimes leave a mark on the door handle. This depends on the material of the handle. Clean the handle and the Door Handle Hook with a cloth and white spirit, then rinse both parts with water. Normally the problem is solved after that. Questions: please email info@deurklinkhaak.nl
Drill holes in the wall? How deep?
The holes in the wall must be drilled at least 45 mm deep.
You can check the depth by placing the screw in the hole without the plate. The screw should disappear into the hole all the way up to the head.
Then push the plug fully into the hole — see also our installation video.
The screws can break if the drill holes are not deep enough.
Screwing into a wooden wall?
When screwing in the Door Handle Hook we recommend pre-drilling the holes to prevent the wood from splitting or the screw from breaking.
The drill bit diameter depends on the hardness of the wood.
