As long as it stays intact, the material won't rust. That layer can, however, be affected by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Flash rust<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 iron particles in the air (for example from grinding work or along railway lines)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Salt and chlorine<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 coastal air, road salt or aggressive cleaning products<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Harsh polishes<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 limescale remover, bleach or scouring pads<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">HOW TO KEEP IT LOOKING GOOD<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Wiping it with a cloth now and then is enough for everyday care.<\/strong>&nbsp;Wipe away fingerprints and dust with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Always dry the surface afterwards with a clean, dry cloth \u2014 this prevents limescale marks from tap water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More dirt? Use lukewarm water with a few drops of mild soap.
